There are 2 main soil types at this estate: Very dense clay and limestone soil with rolled pebbles. 20 hectares; 14 of which are planted to Tannat, 5 Cabernet Franc and 1 hectare of Cabernet Sauvignon. The average age of the vines is 50 years.Practicing sustainable agriculture: Organic fertilizing and cultivating of the soild provided by a herd of 300 sheep. 8000 bottles produced annually. Blend of 95% Tannat and 5% cabernet Franc. Vinification process includes 25 day fermentation, Micro-oxygenation and Prefermented maceration. Aged for 20 to 24 mnths in new oak barrels.This cuvée has the potential to age for 25 years in the bottle.
