70% Garnacha, 30% Syrah. Fermented in stainless steel and wood vat using natural yeast and macerated for 20-35 days. Malolactic fermentation is done in barrel, then aged 10 months in 2 to 8-year-old wood barrels.
An austere wine coming from the oldest vines of the Mentrida area, between 40 and 70 years old. A touch of used oak softens and balances this wine, and there is a play between freshness and concentration, easy and gentle tannins, balanced with a low alcohol. A blend of Syrah and Grenache which are coming from different places in the Méntrida DO. A wine which speaks of the territory made in the most traditional manner.
