Mike has once again teamed up with veteran winemaker Larry Levin who has over 30 years of experience making wines in Napa for Quintessa and Turnbull. The fruit for the Logan Farrell Cabernet is sourced primarily from Oakville and is comprised of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Like all of the wines that Mike O’Connell brings to the market, the Logan Farrell is a wine that offers tremendous value and quality for the money. The wine is dense and polished with an energetic balance and is a quintessential Napa Valley Cabernet.
The Cabernet fruit for Logan Farrell comes from a mix of hillside, mountain vineyards primarily from the Oakville AVA of Napa Valley, along with selected sites on the valley floor. The grapes were crushed and allowed to cold soak for a few days before being fermented in stainless steel tanks and transferred to French, oak barrels. Aged for 20 months in French oak with about 25% new
