The hill Stielle is one of the historic areas for production of Sangiovese grapes: there are written documents with reference to this vineyard which date back to 1153. “Stielle” enjoys a privileged position: its soil, traditionally Chanti style, the sun exposure and luminosity, air flows and altitude turn this vineyard into the perfect one to produce a great Crù.
Remarkable notes of ripe red berries. The spicy and balsamic notes from the oak ageing are wellintegrated in the wine, supporting the characteristic tone of the Sangiovese. Full-bodied, powerful, with a good acidity and crispy and captivating tannin that gives elegance and great drinkability to the wine. The wine undergoes a light filtration, thus a little deposit might appear on the bottom of the bottle, which does not alter the taste or sensorial quality of the wine.
